While we encourage clients to be active between sessions, our programs will create global benefits, that go far beyond simply increasing strength including positive cardiovascular adaptations. Many steady state activities such as jogging, are high impact, often resulting in connective tissue problems. If these types of activities are something you truly enjoy, we encourage you to participate while taking into account the risk benefit factors and not overdo it. Strengthening your muscles, tendons and ligaments through our program will help to minimize the risk, should you choose to do so.
What about “cardio”? Don’t I need to do something for my heart and lungs?
